European Sustainable Energy Week

DESCRIPTION

Organised by the European Commission, EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. The European Sustainable Energy Week brings together public authorities, private companies, projects, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient energies.

The 2022 edition of EUSEW will take place in a hybrid format under the theme “Going green and digital for Europe’s energy transition”.

 

CHALLENGE

Sharing 1 week consumption rates of water, food, electricity, plastic, paper, glass materials (challenge activity).

For this activity, each team members will take a provided chart for measuring daily consumption rates of during the Sustainable Energy Week (26-30 Sept.). At the end of the week, participants will meet and calculate their consumption rates of water, food, electricity, plastic, paper and glass. Filled charts will be uploaded on the platform and the results will be evaluated by jury members.

 

TIPS

1. The material that you consume will be described in the chart (online/paper).

2. You have to write each tiny details of consumption that you consume during the whole week.

3. The team with the least consumption rates will be rewarded.
